K-12 Instruction |
|
Yosemite Falls Education Center is a K-12 school that offers, Independent Study, Home School and Tutoring. The school is part of the Yosemite Unified School District and resides in Coarsegold, California. There are many different avenues to a good solid education and the staff will help each student and parent find the path that is best for them. Supervision of a California State Credential teacher is provided along with all textbooks, curriculum, materials and support. We are constantly updating and purchasing educational material to meet the diverse needs of our students. All district services are made available to students; Special Education, testing, computer labs, music and support programs at the Junior High level. Our district nurse and speech pathologist services are also available. Meeting the needs of our students is our number one priority. Requirements and instruction will be designed for each student and special assistance will be given to students with IEP's 504 and other special needs with small groups and individual instruction. Feel free to call your son/daughter’s teacher if you have questions regarding assignments or scheduling. We are available from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday - Friday. We want Independent Study to be an enjoyable and successful experience for you and your son/daughter. Independent Study provides a unique opportunity and time for parents and their children to communicate and participate in many worthwhile activities together. We hope you will make the most of this special time in your son/daughter’s life. |
