After-school clubs begin at Coarsegold schools

COARSEGOLD — Coarsegold Union School District is proud to
announce the opening of after-school clubs for all children registered in the
district’s campuses at Coarsegold Elementary and Rivergold.
The programs will coincide with the CUSD school calendar and
will be in session between 6:45 a.m. through 7:45 a.m. and then again from
12:10-6:15 p.m.
There will be a minimal hourly charge to participate in the
club.
The clubs will provide a safe, clean, organized
academic-based environment for children from kindergartners through the eighth
grade.
Each day, children will be provided with the help they need
to complete their daily homework. They will also be provided with snacks, and
be involved in organized team-building activities.
As the programs grows it will also provide individualized
and small-group tutoring and enrichment activities in the areas of art, theater
arts, writing, math, and science.
“We are very excited to provide our community with these
much-needed programs,” says Stuart Pincus.
