Coarsegold to hold candidate night

COARSEGOLD — A candidate night is scheduled for Tuesday [October 1] to introduce the candidates running for the Coarsegold Union School District School Board. The moderator-led question-and-answer session will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Coarsegold School cafeteria.

The candidates are Greg Schoonard, Christine Wilder, Cheri Anderson, Kathy Casey, and Thom Guthrie. Three of the five positions on the Board are to be filled. An informal discussion and refreshments will follow the session.

“This will be an excellent opportunity for the Coarsegold community to meet and learn about the five candidates running for the CUSD Board of Trustees,” says Debbie Millar of the Coarsegold School PTA.

Any questions for the candidates should be submitted to Coarsegold School or Rivergold School offices by September 23 or bring them to the candidate night on October 1.
